The 33rd annual triathlon, which raises funds for homeless programs at Father Joe’s Villages, took place along the San Diego bayfront this morning.

The International Course consisted of a 1,000-meter swim, 30K bicycle ride and a 10K run. There was also a sprint course consisting of a 500-meter swim, a 20K bicycle ride and a six-mile run.

The action centered around Spanish Landing Park, across North Harbor Drive from Lindbergh Field.

However, the bike ride took competitors to the tip of Point Loma and back, and the runners ventured onto Harbor Island and wound up at the finish at Seaport Village.
