Over 3,000 UCSD students, alumni and members of the community turned out for the university’s annual Triton 5k. Here are the best of their reactions from around social media.

The run supports scholarships for UCSD students, with runners forming teams to raise money. This year, “ViaSat” led the fundraising at $3800, with Race Condition and Poseidon’s Progeny behind at $3500 and $3020 respectively. The race also features a Junior Run for younger racers.

Since its inception in 1996, the race has raised $3.9 million in scholarships, according to UCSD’s official 5k website.
