A Chula Vista man, Igor Campos, won the marathon with a time of 2:39:17. Lenore Moreno of West Covina won the women’s marathon with a time of 2:41:39. Meb Keflezighi, a San Diego high graduate and winner of the 2014 Boston Marathon won the half-marathon.

Another notable finisher was 92-year old Harriette Thompson who is believed to be the oldest woman to finish a marathon, with a time of 7:25:29.
