San Diego’s coastal communities saw a sprinkling of rain on a cloudy and cool Memorial Day.
At noon Lindberg Field was reporting light drizzle and light rain was falling at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and in Carlsbad, according to the National Weather Service.
Oceanside, Vista, Encinitas and Julian reported rain overnight, with totals under a tenth of an inch.
The forecast for Monday afternoon calls for mostly cloudy conditions with patchy drizzle. Highs will be 66 to 71 along the coast and a few degrees warmer inland.
It will be cloudy and cooler on Tuesday, but no rain is forecast.
