A cold storm out of the Gulf of Alaska dropped as much as a third of an inch of rain in the Los Angeles area Tuesday evening, but largely missed San Diego.
The storm delayed the start of the San Diego Padres game against the Los Angeles Dodgers by 30 minutes, and slowed traffic on streets and highways, but officials reported no major spike in accidents.
The National Weather Service said the storm had dissipated by 10 p.m.
A few locations in north and east San Diego County reported trace amounts of precipitation.
The forecast for San Diego on Wednesday calls for sun with highs around 66 and 15 mph west winds. It will be clear and cool overnight, with lows 45 to 53.
Thursday is expected to be sunny with highs 66 to 71.
