Smoke is expected to be visible over San Diego County’s backcountry Thursday, as firefighters work to clear brush in an attempt to prevent wildfires.
Two prescribed burns are scheduled Thursday in the Mount Laguna area near Wooded Hill Campground and on the east side of Palomar Mountain near Warner Springs, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
