Hundreds of motorcyclists led by Councilmember Scott Sherman attended the 6th Annual Ride of Inspiration Saturday to benefit the Down Syndrome Center at Rady Children’s Hospital and DS Actiona non-profit organization that supports individuals with Down Syndrome.

The charity event featured live music and a Kids’ Zone, leading up to the main events, a Poker Run for motorcyclists and a Poker Walk for non-riders.

This year, the ride included a stop in front of Rady Children’s Hospital to allow children and their families who could not attend to see a portion of the festivities.

Other new additions to the festival included a car show and coordinating theme- “Remember the Times”- which encouraged attendees to dress in costumes from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.
