The annual run of the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar is scheduled to end Sunday, with another attendance record in sight.

With a theme this year of the “Fab Fair,” the event has paid homage to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles arrival in the U.S. as part of the so- called “British Invasion” in pop music.

The final day will include events such as Mop Top Trivia at 3 p.m. and Beatles music at 5 p.m.

Sundays at the fair celebrate Hispanic culture, so mariachi and banda performer Ezequiel Pena will headline the fair’s final concert.

A Fair spokeswoman said late last week that this year’s edition was on its way to setting an attendance record, but specific numbers were not available. Fair attendance topped the 1 million mark last Sunday.
