Developing low pressure aloft will bring cooler days and some low clouds along the coast of San Diego County Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, before a warming trend begins Thursday, meteorologists said.

A warming trend Thursday through Sunday with periods of weaker offshore flow will make it “quite warm” over the weekend and early next week, with daytime highs well above normal, according to the National Weather Service.

High temperatures today were expected to be in the mid-60s to low 70s near the coast, mid- to high 70s in the valleys,  low 60s to low 70s in the mountains and high 70s to low 80s in the deserts.

By Saturday, the NWS said highs would top out in the mid-70s near the coast, low 80s inland, mid-80s in the valleys, high 70s in the mountains and high 80s in the deserts.
