The Pacific Research Network will hold a free memory screening near Balboa Park on Tuesday for those aged 50 and over.
The confidential memory screening will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the network offices, 3003 Fourth Ave.
There will be parking and light refreshments for attendees, who will receive information about brain health, options for memory-loss concerns and local resources.
The network is a part of the Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation GAP-Net, one of a number of academic and private research sites dedicated to advancing clinical research for Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases.
The 30-minute memory testing will be conducted in a private setting. After the assessment, attendees will meet one-on-one with a health professional to discuss the results and address any questions or concerns.
Register online or call 619-294-4302.
