
The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency reported 409 new COVID-19 infections Wednesday and one more virus-related death.
The county’s COVID-19 hospitalizations have increased by three to 104, according to the latest state data.
Wednesday’s data increased the county’s cumulative coronavirus totals to 758,715 cases and 5,237 deaths.
So far 4.0% of county residents with confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been hospitalized and 0.7% have died of the disease.
A total of 1,301,056 — or 58% — of San Diego County residents who are fully vaccinated have received a booster shot, according to the agency.
More than 2.94 million — or 93.4% — of San Diego County residents age 5 and older are at least partially vaccinated and 2.60 million, or 82.8%, are fully vaccinated.
