Of the 15,749 tests reported Thursday, 1% returned positive, as the county’s 14-day rolling average of positives fell to 1.6%.
With the new cases, the total count rose to 278,591. The death toll remained at 3,725 for the fifth straight day.
Hospitalization numbers stayed steady at 151, as did the number of patients, 43, who required intensive care.
Officials reported one community outbreak Thursday, for a total of 14 in the last seven days linked to 51 cases. The county has logged 1,520 community outbreaks during the pandemic.
More than 1.75 million county residents have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while nearly 1.3 million now can be counted as fully vaccinated. The county has 484,440 doses on hand to administer.
Meanwhile, the county has begun giving youths from 12-15 doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
