A 9-year-old girl who went missing Wednesday from her Lincoln Park school turned up in a nearby neighborhood about 4 1/2 hours later.
Porter Elementary School student Aliyah Bryant walked away from the campus in the 4800 block of T Street about 9 a.m., according to San Diego Police.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., the girl was found at South 43rd and Eta streets in Southcrest, about a mile from the school, SDPD public-affairs Officer Billy Hernandez said.
It was unclear where the child had been or what she was doing while she was truant.
