MiraCosta College’s spring 2018 semester starts on Jan. 22 with hundreds of class offerings in dozens of subjects. It’s a good time to work toward a degree or certificate, get started in the workplace, transfer to a four-year university, or for personal enrichment, professional growth or to gain a new skill.

Enrollment is on the increase at MiraCosta, but many classes are still available, including transfer-level courses in these disciplines: Accounting, Administration of Justice, Anthropology, Art, Astronomy, Automotive Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Administration, Business Office Technology, Chemistry, Child Development, Computer Studies/Science, Counseling, Dance, Design, Drama, Earth Sciences, Economics, English, Film, Health, History, Horticulture, Hospitality, Humanities, Kinesiology, Literature, Massage, Math, Media Arts & Technologies, Medical Administrative Professional, Music, Music Technology, Oceanography, Philosophy, Physical Science, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Spanish.

Classes are offered during the day, evening, weekends and online. Don’t miss out on late-start classes either: MiraCosta offers a wide selection of classes that begin the weeks of Feb. 5 and March 26 and conclude at the same time as “regular” courses.

The enrollment fee is $46 per unit for California residents. This fee is waived for concurrently enrolled high school students. For more information, to register for classes or to request a class schedule, call 760.757.2121 or visitwww.miracosta.edu.  Financial aid and scholarships are available.
