A school in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood of San Diego will have to find a new home.

The San Diego Unified School District’s board agreed this week to lease the land to a developer interested in building an apartment complex, according to CBS 8.
Innovations Academy Charter School is a kindergarten through eighth grade charter school with 375 students.

Monarch Development Group hopes to build 264 apartment units with 2,000 square feet of retail space, according to CBS 8. The project could generate up to $35 million.
