The largest group of San Diego State University students — more than 4,500 — will begin moving into the residence halls for the start of the new academic year on Friday.
Among the changes the students will find is a newly-renovated Zura Hall. The renovations to the 47-year-old building included improving its infrastructure; increasing interior study, lounge and meeting spaces; and improving the structure’s sustainability.
The much-anticipated makeover was completed in early August. More than 670 freshmen will move into the residence hall Friday.
