For the eighth consecutive year, UC San Diego was ranked first in its athletic division as an institution for student-athletes.
The National Collegiate Scouting Association’s power rankings identify colleges with the best combination of athletic competitiveness and academic excellence.
UC San Diego ranked first among NCAA Division II institutions and 12th overall, just behind Harvard University.
“There are a lot of ways to compare schools out there,” said Chris Krause, Founder & CEO of NCSA Athletic Recruiting. “But this tool really helps student-athletes understand how the schools they’re considering will fit both their academic and athletic goals, and ultimately help them become leaders in their chosen professions.”
