Curious about what lies ahead for the Lemon Grove School District? At 7 p.m. Thursday in the H. Lee House, 3205 Olive, Ernest Anastos, Lemon Grove’s school superintendent, will discuss “The Future of Lemon Grove.”

This special fireside chat with the much-traveled, bilingual Superintendent Anastos will be followed by questions and answers, and refreshments.

Videotaping of lectures is made possible by a Community Enhancement Grant from the San Diego County Board of Supervisors on the recommendation of Supervisor Dianne Jacob, District 2, while ancillary costs of the series are underwritten by the Mary England Endowment for Education.

Now in its 37th season, “History Alive” is free and suitable for ages 14 and older.
