A 33-year-old man was behind bars Friday in connection with a fatal shooting at a residence in Lemon Grove.
Deputies discovered the suspect, identified as Eric Nunez, in the driveway of a residence in the 21000 block of El Dora Street upon their arrival at around 4 a.m. Thursday, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office. They detained him without incident.
The victim, discovered with gunshot wounds to his upper body, and was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said. His name and age have not been released.
Nunez was arrested and booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of murder. The motive behind the attack remains under investigation.
