A 70-year-old woman broke a hip when she was struck by a vehicle.
The San Diego Police Department said the collision occurred at 1:25 p.m. near Genesee Avenue and Mount Alifan Drive, when a white Mercedes-Benz attempting a left turn hit a woman who had been walking east from Genesee Avenue, heading west on Mount Alifan Drive.
Police said the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
It was unclear if the driver also sustained injuries or remained at the scene following the collision.
According to police, detectives have not determined the cause of the collision, and the Traffic Division is conducting an ongoing investigation.
