A Stockton man suspected of killing his wife in San Joaquin County on Saturday night was arrested in San Ysidro on Sunday morning.

The man is reportedly suspected in killing his wife the night of April 19, as well as possible other family members.

The suspect was driving a red Ford Explorer. According to Onscene.Media, he was believed to have been armed with a handgun.

However, no weapons were found in the vehicle.

The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, was taken into custody at gunpoint without incident during a “hot stop” after law enforcement ran his license plate number in the 1900 block of Dairy Mart Road.

He was thought to have been on his way to Mexico at the time.
