Firefighters worked on putting out a blaze in a commercial area of downtown San Diego on Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported around 5:55 a.m. Tuesday at 1277 First Ave. near the intersection of West A St., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

There were 30 personnel assigned to the fire, including four engines, two trucks and two medics, officials said.

No injuries or evacuations were immediately reported.
