At least one person is dead following a suspected DUI crash early Sunday morning near Miramar, leaving the northbound 15 freeway shut down for hours.
According to Onscene.Media, one car slammed into the back of another at around 3:32 a.m. Sunday on the northbound 15 freeway just south of Miramar Way.
The collision sent one car into the shoulder. The other vehicle — a black car — lost power and was blacked out in traffic lanes. As the blacked-out black car was stalled out in lanes, a motorcyclist crashed into it and was killed.
One person in the white car was injured and subsequently taken to a local hospital.
The driver of the black car refused to cooperate with a field sobriety test. He was taken into custody at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence.
