A 20-year-old man riding a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on Euclid Avenue was seriously injured Friday morning when he crashed into a parked car, authorities reported.

The man was thrown under a 2014 Toyota Corolla parked in the 700 block of Euclid. Firefighters responding to the scene at 4:38 a.m. had to lift the car off of the victim.

The San Diego Police said the man sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

The department’s Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
