Firefighters responded to an injured hiker at Mission Trails Regional Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department received the call at 12:07 p.m. at Golfcrest Drive and Navajo Road, authorities said.

Crews evaluated a 67-year-old woman who had fallen and injured her ankle, according to fire officials.

“She said she was good so she was not transported for further treatment,” SDFRD Battalion Chief Jeff Mitchell said.
