Investigators on Tuesday released the name of a woman found dead in East County.
Jane Hannah Cronin, 29, of San Diego was found near state Route 79 and Wildwood Glen Lane in Descanso about 10:30 a.m. Dec. 11, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies did not see signs of foul play at the scene, sheriff’s officials said, but homicide detectives have taken over the case.
An autopsy was performed the day after Cronin was discovered, but the cause of death continues to be investigated.
