A driver crashed into a mobile home park early Tuesday causing damage to at least one trailer and leaving residents without gas and electricity.

The female driver was proceeding along Palm Avenue near La Palma Mobile Estates around 3:20 a.m., according to OnScene.TV.

Her car left the road, and flew down a hillside before landing in the park, hitting a shed and then a trailer. Cement blocks and other debris struck the trailer, then a second trailer and two cars.

The driver had to be extricated from the wreckage and suffered a head injury. Medics transported her to a local hospital. Authorities said DUI may be a factor in the crash.

No one in the trailer park was injured, but some residents may be displaced due to the damage to their homes.

San Diego police and fire personnel responded.
