
A man walked into a Core-Columbia neighborhood store, shopped around placed several items on the counter lifted up his shirt, and showed the clerk a possible handgun, then walked out of the store, the San Diego Police Department said Monday.
The robbery happened at 5:20 p.m. Sunday at 400 C Street, according to an SDPD statement.
The suspect, 40 to 50 years old, wearing all black clothes and carrying a gray backpack, placed the items in a bag and walked out of the store going westbound on C Street, the statement said. The clerk was not injured.
SDPD Robbery Detectives were investigating the robbery.
