A 32-year-old man on a Honda motorcycle was killed Sunday evening in a head-on crash with a Chevrolet SUV in San Pasqual Valley.
The crash was reported at 8:35 p.m. on San Pasqual Valley Road at Cloverdale Road, San Diego Police Officer John Buttle said.
The motorcycle was eastbound on San Pasqual Valley Road when it veered into westbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Equinox, Buttle said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. A description of the victim was not immediately available.
Police said later that the driver of the Chevrolet and two passengers complained of pain.
San Pasqual Valley Road was shut down in both directions for an investigation.
Investigators said DUI was not considered a factor in the collision.
