A power outage left hundreds of Carlsbad-area homes and businesses without electrical service Monday, authorities reported.
The blackout struck shortly after 10 a.m., knocking out power to a total of 1,330 San Diego Gas & Electric customers, the power company advised.
Service was expected to be restored to all the affected addresses by early evening, according to SDG&E.
The cause of the outage was under investigation, the utility reported.
