A 19-year-old man is dead and two people are in critical condition after a shooting Saturday at an unknown location in San Diego County, authorities said.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department received reports at around 2:25 a.m. Saturday of four victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds who later arrived at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, according to sheriff’s officials.
Police reported that a fifth male, possibly a driver, accompanied the victims to the hospital.
“Victims drove to the hospital, one deceased, and homicide took over the investigation,” a public information officer with the sheriff’s department told City News Service.
Detectives were interviewing witnesses and attempting to locate a crime scene, according to the department.
No suspect information was immediately available.
