Two people were arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at a DUI checkpoint in Chula Vista, authorities said Sunday.
The checkpoint was conducted from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday in the 300 block of L Street, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.
A total of 938 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, with 343 motorists screened, the department reported.
Four drivers underwent field sobriety tests, six drivers were cited for operating vehicles with suspended licenses and three vehicles were impounded, police said.
