A fight between a pair of brothers in Mount Hope Saturday sent one to a hospital and the other to jail.
The violence was reported at 11:55 a.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Broadway, said San Diego Police Department Officer J. Perales.
A 23-year-old man and his 27-year-old brother were fighting when the older one stabbed the younger one about eight times, Perales said. The younger man was able to escape and look for help.
Paramedics took him to a hospital for treatment of his wounds that were determined to be non-life-threatening, Perales said.
Officers arrested the older brother without incident, the officer said.
