Fire damaged an Albertsons supermarket in Vista early Saturday morning, prompting a temporary closure.
The two-alarm fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at 1601 S. Melrose Drive in the Melrose Village Plaza, according to a social media post from News Flash San Diego.
It was reported that sparks in a dumpster outside the store caused the fire, the post said.
A manager at the Albertsons told City News Service that there was some damage to the store, which would remain closed Saturday but would reopen Sunday.
It was not immediately clear how much damage the store sustained, but a number of overnight employees were believed to have been inside at the time of the fire, according to the post.
No injuries were reported.
