The San Diego Police asked for public help Monday to find a 50-year-old woman who went missing on a hike on Black Mountain.
Diem Le Nguyen was hiking during the first heat wave of the season on Sunday with a group on the Nighthawk Trail, near 9711 Oviendo Way, authorities told NBC7.
When the group stopped halfway up the trail around 8 a.m. Sunday, Nguyen continued on, then later contacted her group, saying she went to the end of the trail, the station reported. That was the last time anyone had contact with her.
Anyone who has information on her whereabouts was asked to call San Diego Police at 619-531-2000 or 858-484-3154.
