A 21-year-old felony suspect allegedly armed with a knife was taken into custody Saturday after a search in Encinitas, authorities said.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect had last been seen wearing a dark blue shirt and blue jeans in the Calle Barcelona and El Camino Real area.
The department was using a helicopter to search for him Saturday morning. It wasn’t immediately clear where he was located, and sheriff’s officials didn’t specify the nature of his alleged crime.
