An outage Wednesday briefly knocked out power to hundreds of homes and businesses in northeastern Escondido and the nearby Daley Ranch and Dixon Lake areas.
The outage struck about 12:15 p.m., affecting a total of 1,117 San Diego Gas & Electric customers, the power company advised.
Service was restored to all the affected addresses within 45 minutes, according to SDG&E.
The outage occurred when some sort of “foreign object” came into contact with power lines, the utility reported.
