A motorcycle rider was killed Sunday in a solo crash in the rural Pauma Valley area.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Cole Grade Road and Old Cole Grade Road, near Casino Pauma, around 6:50 p.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There was no immediate word yet on the gender or age of the victim.
The CHP said the rider’s name will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.
