A 53-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the head near Crown Point early Thursday, San Diego police said.
The suspect fled the scene of the stabbing, Campland on the Bay, at around 9:30 a.m., and has not been located. He was described as an adult white male wearing a blue beanie, green jacket, light colored blue jeans and black slipper-style shoes.
The victim sustained a puncture wound near his left eyebrow area. Medics took him to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
Northern Division Detectives responded and are handling the investigation.
