The body of a man who apparently shot himself was found Wednesday near Point Loma Nazarene University, according to reports from the U.S. Border Patrol.
Agents were in the area searching for three undocumented immigrants who landed two jet skis onto Garbage Beach below the university, according to OnScene TV video news service.
At about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, agents stumbled upon the body of a man in the open space near the university’s student dorms.
The man did not appear to be a student, the news service said.
The San Diego Police Department was notified and they are investigating.
