A homicide investigation was underway in Spring Valley Tuesday following a late-morning shooting.
The gunfire was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the 800 block of La Presa Avenue, two blocks north of Jamacha Boulevard, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to take charge of the investigation, the agency reported.
