Lifeguards and firefighters rescued a woman who fell about 25 feet to the rocks below Sunset Cliffs Saturday.
The victim, who was said to be in her 20s, fell from street level at 900 Sunset Cliffs Blvd. at about 2 p.m. Saturday, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
She suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital via a SDFD helicopter.
“This was a fast, efficient and safe rescue because of teamwork between firefighters, lifeguards and the (helicopter) crew,” the SDFD said.
