A shooting in Valley Center left one person wounded Friday.
The gunfire was reported at about 1 p.m. in the 7500 block of Mendoza Road, just east of Valley Center Road, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Further details, including the severity of the victim’s wounds and the circumstances that led to the shooting, remained unavailable.
