A tri-county Silver Alert was issued Saturday for a 91-year-old man who was reported missing in Chula Vista.

Lawrence Miller was last seen at approximately 7:45 p.m. Friday at 2575 E. Eighth St., said the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Chula Vista Police Department.

Miller is white, 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighing 197 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and authorities say he may be driving a 2006 black Chrysler 300 with a California license plate 6FIJ157.

Anyone who sees Miller or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.

The alert was issued for Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
