A utility worker came across an unidentified body Wednesday at the edge of a back-country road in the southeastern reaches of San Diego County.
The discovery in the 20000 block of Tumeric Way in Jamul, north of state Route 94 and about two miles southwest of Barrett Lake, was reported shortly before 10 a.m., San Diego Sheriff’s Lt. Matthew Carpenter said.
There were no immediate indications of suspicious circumstances related to the fatality.
