A 25-year-old man who was riding a 2017 Yamaha motorcycle was hospitalized Saturday after he collided with a 2011 Hyundai Tucson in the Ridgeview-Webster neighborhood of San Diego.
San Diego Police were called at 11:22 p.m. Friday to the 4500 block of Home Avenue where they learned the motorcyclist was riding east when a 46-year-old woman driving the Hyundai made a U-turn in front of the victim.
He struck the Hyundai on the driver’s side front fender, according to Officer Robert Heims.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with multiple fractures and a laceration to his ankle, Heims said.
Police said driving under the influence was not a factor in the crash.
