A 60-year-old woman was stabbed in the leg Monday by another woman at the Imperial Avenue Transit Center, police said.
The stabbing happened about 2 a.m. Monday at 1255 Imperial Ave., near Petco Park in Downtown San Diego, said Officer Scott Lockwood of the San Diego Police Department.
The two women were involved in a confrontation and one was stabbed in the leg, the officer said. The suspect ran off and was not immediately located.
The suspect’s description was not immediately available.
The victim was taken to UCSD Medical Center for treatment of a non- life-threatening injury.
