
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Pacific Highway in Old Town, police reported Sunday.
San Diego Police said the man was walking north in the west side bicycle lane, when he began crossing the street to the east at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The victim was struck by a southbound 2019 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 24-year-old woman.
Paramedics rushed the unidentified victim to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
