San Diego Police arrested an armed man who holed up in a Pacific Beach apartment for hours on Monday morning.
After at least one shot was fired in the neighborhood, a SWAT team surrounded the apartment, where the man refused to surrender for five hours, police said.
A shot was fired around 1 a.m. Monday and hit another apartment across the street, according to Lt. Adam Sharki.
One resident came out of the surrounded apartment, saying he didn’t want to be involved and telling police a man inside was trying to hide a gun and drugs.
