
Two people, including a firefighter, suffered injuries in a fire Sunday that damaged two homes in Rolando Village, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said.
Firefighters were called to the scene in the 6400 block of Bradford Street at 6:39 a.m., according to a department spokesman.
The people who received minor injuries were taken to a hospital. The fire displaced four residents, who received help from the Red Cross.
Personnel from San Diego Gas & Electric responded to turn off an active gas line, a fire official said.
Firefighting crews remained on scene at 1:24 p.m. OnScene.TV reported that investigators determined the fire was accidental and that one of the homes is a total loss.
